Hello Julie: Thank you for replying to the post re: BEER surname. The particular lot that took me hunting in WA didn't emigrate there until 1910 so that would eliminate your George BEER being connected to this particular family. I do however have other BEER's in my line (often an entire family) that seem to disappear from England and very likely went to Australia as I haven't found them in the USA or Canada and it seems folk usually (but not always of course) left for USA, Canada or Australia. Is it possible you have the marriage certificate for George BEER and Tryphenia CLIFFORD and perhaps it states who George's father was? I have been following the BEER's in England for many years now and have always made it a practice to research any I run across as often they don't immediately appear to fit into my line but then up the road something pops up and then find they are actually related. Just wish I knew something more on your George. Delving into BEER's in Australia is something I have not attempted before and just started to do in the past week. It is already obvious to me that even after I sort the current family I am working on I will stay researching in Australia now that I am becoming familiar with resources that are available there. I had no idea there were so many BEER's in Australia! Will keep the BEER/CLIFFORD marriage in mind in case I should run across something that might relate. Thank you for the BEER info/references you sent, it is very much appreciated!
