Names will be published over the next few weeks. The first belongs to Thomas JACKSON who was born in Scotland on July 25,1885. The passport was granted at Batavia on December 3,1919. LEREW or his family is sought on behalf of a veteran in Melbourne who fouad his wallet on a jungle track all those years ago. LONE PINE, GALLIPOLI : Murray Ewen, author of Colour Patch, a unit history on the 2/4th Machine Gun Battalion, is researching material for a book concerning Lone Pine-Gallipoli. He wants to hear from anyone who had a family member who was involved in this August 1915 battle, or the lead-up to the attack with regards to the underground tunnels.
