Samuel GILL, who arrived in SA with wife Winifred (nee OKE) aboard the Caroline in 1839 along with sons, Samuel Thomas and John Ryland GILL, will be held in Donnybrook on Saturday, September 24. Samuel Thomas was to become a famous Australian painter. His brother John and wife Janet (THOMPSON) had eight children including Ryland Oke GILL who married Emma MILLER. They came to WA with children John Samuel and George RYLAND, where a third son, Douglas Oke, was born in Kunanalling. Ryland's second marriage was to Linda CHADWICK. Also hoping to hear from "Mitzi" (surname unknown) a small child who survived being run over by a train in Boulder most probably the Loopline or mines train. Their aim is to help veterans from World War II, Korea, Malaya, Borneo, South Vietnam, Somalia, Cambodia, Rwanda, Gulf War, Iraq etc. (disability claims), also war widows, MCRS, VEA and all matters dealing with entitlements and assessments.
