It is comprehensive with about 800 recipes. Descendants of this pioneering family may have other old recipes. Useful information appreciated about a bygone era and style of cooking that may have been preserved by Elizabeth's descendants or relatives. They emigrated to South Australia but the family also lived in Tasmania and WA. Their first three children were born in South Australia Mary Ann (b.1866), Reuben (1868) and Edward (1868) while Frederick Thomas (1876) and Frank John (1877) were born in Hobart. Other children were Ernest Albert, Alice Maude, Florence Ada, Arthur Hampton, Percy Melmouth, and Cissie. The family later moved to WA where Mary Anne died in Perth in 1924. The company has the biggest film and sound archive in the world with film painstakingly restored and compiled into a video and DVD series called The Great Liners with 23, one-hour episodes now available for sale. The project has not been able to attract funding and the proceeds of video sales goes towards the considerable expense of restoration. More than four million immigrants are believed to have arrived in Australia on these ocean liners and it is hoped to find even more footage. If you are seeking a good home for your old films, they will be gratefully received. Every film contributor will be given a screen credit and a copy of the end result.
