TAYLOR : Seeking John TAYLOR who worked in Boans photography department in Wellington Street in the 1960s. ANDERSON : Highgate RSL-Honour Avenues Group is seeking relatives of Pte John Thomas Anderson (3006) about his honour plaque in Marri Walk, Kings Park. Pte ANDERSON was the son of Thomas and Helena ANDERSON, of Welshpool. He served in World War I with the 28th Battalion and was killed in action at Pozieres on July 29,1916, aged 21 years 11 months. Many years ago there was a photo of Amelia and the unknown "best boy swimmer" hanging in one of the school's hallways but it is no longer there. Does anyone know the whereabouts of this photo or any other photographs of Amelia with the swimming team? Would appreciate a copy. They were a group of seemingly semi-itinerant Jewish men who divided their lives between the country and North Perth and later Mt Lawley. Planning to visit their country roosts, to collect anecdotes and any other information about their relationships with local residents of the various country regions they visited weekly. Also seeking anecdotes about his father, Kopel (Kenny) Frank, who worked as a wool buyer between the late 1950s and the early 1980s, primarily in the Coorow-Dalwallinu region. Guided tours of the new display cabinets (funded by Lottery-west) will be offered. ROBINSON/HOMER : Relatives in Scotland are seeking descendants of Margaret Jane HOMER, who emigrated to Australia from Glasgow some time after 1908 with her husband, William John ROBINSON. Surviving members of the family cannot recall any further information other than a newspaper article being sent back to Britain possibly in the 1970s about their son or grandson who helped capture a man who had murdered a policeman.
