I am thinking its about time i sussed out the what cemeteries near me have fallen under the same dark cloud! As i drive around the central west of NSW i often glance at the smaller cemeteries and think, i wonder if anyone has been here with a digital camera yet.. i would like to know what protocols are associated with : 1) taking photos and 2) publishing those photos online Anyhow, the section that i would be interested in at Karrakatta is: *anglican FC 142 *Thanks Sandra Sue -- _______________________________________________ Search for businesses by name, location, or phone number. -Lycos Yellow Pages http://r.lycos.com/r/yp_emailfooter/http://yellowpages.lycos.com/default.asp?SRC=lycos10
Hi Sandra How sad! By " one of the first to go" are you saying that the headstones have been desecrated/ partially destroyed or removed? One of my missions at the moment is to get a headstone for my grandfather; at the time of his death, he was buried in the town's cemetery but the family could not afford a headstone; So, i'm about to approach council to see what i can do. And on the same note, my gt grandfather and his family were all buried on the family property and ultimately the property was bought ( i believe ) by the state govt and is now covered by a huge dam... unfortunately, the headstones were not removed before the creation of the dam. One would think it would be a matter of course to remove all headstones before this happened.... but thats another story! Cheers, Sue Miss Fedelmar wrote: >Hello Sue ...
