Hi, Is anyone researching Catherine de Werdinski? Lawrence Bower, who married Catherine de Werdinski (sometimes spelled DewdinskI) on 18 May 1853 in Fremantle, West Australia. Catherine was the daughter of Adolphe de Werdinski, a shadowy, not to say shady, character claiming to be an Austrian Count, who also used the name David Beck and was buried here in Hull in England in 1856 . I am wondering whether anyone has anything else about Catherine - where she was born, mother's name, when she arrived in Australia, when she died etc. I would be very grateful indeed for anything at all.
