Good morning Listers I am researching the OUTRIDGE families and believe that there are reference to PP OUTRIDGE in the book "More Lonely Graves of Western Australia" by Yvonne Coate on pages 107 and 259. As there is no copy of the book available in Brisbane could SKS please forward a transcription of the OUTRIDGE reference from those pages. TIA Regards Michael - Brisbane
Hi Erin Once again I will be able to assist you on this one. Just give me a few weeks to get everything together and then I will get back to you with them. Slight glitch in the works as my father passed away on Saturday and so for all of the other listers and yourself whom I told I would take photos it will have to go on hold for a little while - but not too long though. Leonie
Hi Michaela and Pat, The photos may be a little bit longer than anticipated as my father just passed away on Saturday - so this puts a bit of a damper on things. I note with interest that on the day that he died his sister became a great grandmother at the age of 90 on the same day. Fascinating things about life - one door closes and another opens. I now have a closing chapter in my family and yet another new beginning. Leonie
Hi Erin I will be at the cemetery sometime within the next few weeks to do some photography for some other listers in Victoria and Tasmania so I would be delighted to do your photos for you if you can hang on a bit. Hi Folks, I am searching for any details of my uncle Thomas Samuel FORD. He was born 20 Oct 1920 near Burra, South Australia to Norman Horton FORD and Ada Margaret, nee LOMMAN. He married, and later left his family, and had no further contact with his parents or siblings. I heard a rumour that he died in WA in 1988. I am unable to ascertain his place of residence or death. I have searched the Karrakatta, Fremantle and Geraldton cemetery websites without success. The BDM Registry in Perth has confirmed that his death was registered ("as I presumed"), but haven't given me a reference number so that I may order a certificate! hi Leonie, Yes, a site map would be great too. I have just contacted the cemetery and ordered the interment records and they inform me that a Mary Ann PROWSE is buried in the same plot, I have worked out she is probably her daughter so I now have a new surname to work with! I am just starting on my WA research so I don't know of any others yet. Thanks very much for your help!
