    3. Hi Jenny, I have done a search of the WA Pioneer CD, using a combination of the names you supplied, even just putting the first names of the children and birth place Katanning, and nothing came up. I have also tried Narrogin, Gnowangerup and Wagin. It is possible that being an indigenous family, the children were registered under the mother's surname, and not the surname of the father. I have known this to happen before in WA. If you have any other information on Bill, Eric and Maley, post it here, and I will see what I can do to find anything on them. 2. Hello everyone, I was wondering if someone could give me some advice on some births in the Katanning area. I am after the births of Eric, Bill and Maley Hayward. Maley was born around 1905. 1. [AUS-WA] KINGSTON
    2. Ann Kerin
    3. Dear List I know this is stretching q long bow but I've just been told that one of my gg grandfathers (Paul KINGSTON) came to Australia from County Cork, Ireland with two brothers and that they went their separate ways and never heard from each other again. Now just to complicate this matter further, I don't know exactly when they arrived but it was around 1890 and I think they came in via NSW. I don't know the brothers given names but my great aunt thinks at least one of them went to WA. Paul worked at Warbreccan Station near Deniliquin, NSW and had a large family who largely stayed in the district. So if there's anyone out there who has the name KINGSTON in their tree who arrived around the 1890's I love to hear from you to see if we can establish a connection. 3. Hello I am new to this list and hope someone may be able to help me. What I Know: Elizabeth Elsie CALDWELL (my mother-in-law)'s father was James Alexander CALDWELL born in Renfrew Scotland 1866. I have a letter from an Ethel ? to Elsie in New Zealand dated 5th March 1970. In this letter Ethel states: She will be 67 in Dec 1970 - therefore born 1903. She has a sister named Muriel - will be 69 in 1970 She has a sister named Evie - will be 70 at the end of 1970. Their mother was Elizabeth CALDWELL, the sister of James Alexander CALDWELL. I also have a visitor's book of Elsie's and in it I find: 10/2/1987: Ethel & John CARDO, 50 Auckberry Parade, Leeming, Perth - and again 26/7/1988: Ethel & John CARDO 3 Ancombe Loop, Leeming 6155, Perth - and again 21/4/1991: same details - then 6/5/1992: Ethel CARDO (alone), c/- Erica NEATES, 11 Kershaw Gardens, Leeming - and again 12/2/1993: same details. I think Ethel CARDO is the Ethel that wrote to Elsie in 1970. If she is I don't know her maiden name as I don't know who Elizabeth CALDWElL married. Can anyone help me contact this family. regards Patricia Taggart Auckland, NZ
