G'day All, If anyone is going to PROV soon I have a couple of lookups. Ships Passenger list for "Eden" Feb. 1849 Geelong and "Sophia" also same month and year which berthed at Portland. Looking for Abraham Crabtree and the disposal list (who hired him for work) for the same month and year at Portland. I think these should be available at the PROV. Also Supreme Court Registers to see if he got into any further trouble between 1849-1867. He was an "Exile". convicted in York Winter Assizes - Sat. December 1846. Name: CRABTREE, Abraham Age: b1828 Status: S Occupation: Collier/tailor Ship: Eden Year: Feb.1849 Willing to pay whatever the cost is associated with travel, time, and copy. Hope someone can help.
