My shared thoughts for the 11th November, Remembrance Day, relate to the World War 1 Avenue of Honour in Digby, south west Victoria where there is an avenue of 97 trees dedicated to the lads from the district who served. 30 did not survive, that is a very high percentage even for WW1. Details on the soldiers from Digby can be found at: http://www.ballaratgenealogy.org.au/digby/ww1.htm Daryl Povey Ballarat, Vic
