Hi List, I have been searching for ages re- McKenzie in the Dunkeld region.Perhaps Ballarat too. My ggrandfather George was born at Dunkeld (MtSturgeon as it was then) in 1856. I have no idea where they went from there until they turned up in Richmond in 1875. George's father was John McKenzie, wife Ann (Campbell). He was a Carpenter/ cabinet maker and had a business at 92 Dover Street Richmond in 1879. On the death certificates of JOHN and ANN there were other children JAMES, JANE, JOHN, WILLIAM dec. WILLIAM. I have a death certicate of William in 1899 at Hawthorn. He was a French Polisher , parents John and Ann McKenzie George was also a French Polisher. I can't find anything about JANE, JAMES or JOHN. George was living at Dover Street at the time of his marriage in 1879. I hope someone can shed some light on the other members of this family. Thanks Chris
