A colonist for 53 years. James TIPPETT 23rd December 1920 The household of Mr James TIPPETT of McConachie Street, Coleraine, received a shock this morning when it was learned that the husband and father in the family was lying dead in bed. Mr TIPPETT was working in Silvester Oval, the weather being extremely hot, but he subsequently had his evening meal and he enjoyed the quite rest of the evening. About half past ten last night he retired to rest and eveidently passed from tempory sleep to the permanent sleep, for on being called this morning there was no response, life being extinct. Mr TIPPETT was 63 years of age and leaves a widow and grown up family.
