Thanks for this Beryl. She would have been a widow at the age of 23 by the look of it. I would think it possible that she remarried although I know there was a shortage of men because of the war and that many remained single. I think that we (my dad) would have known about her if she had remained in Camperdown,. I'll have to do some thinking on the SO UT and perhaps check a Baillieres Directory for the family when I next visit the State Library. Also found the following siblings Died Warrnambool 1920 aged 37, George Simon, son of the above couple (12648) Died Geelong 1964 aged 61, Claude Hamilton (3037) Died Preston 1972 aged 80, Elizabeth Rachel HOCKING (9798 Died Warrnambool 1973 aged 87, John Samuel (5242) The family seemed to be spread over quite a few years. There's a small possibility she could have been still alive in 1985 I suppose, at 92. That's when the index stops.
