I am searching for marriage information for Alexander BURROWS b. about 1836 county Sligo, Ireland and emigrated to Australia mid 1800's where he married Mary Jane CUMMINGS or COMMONS (previous marriage to CULNER? or CARLTON?) about 1868. Marriage details in several documents varies between Port Fairy and Ballarat. I have been unable to locate registration of the marriage in any searches or shipping details for either Alexander or Jane. Alexanders parents were Thomas and Jane Burrows. Alexanders children were Andrew 1869, William 1871 and Emma 1874 all born in Ballarat. Are there any genealogy detectives out there who can help?
