August 15, 1919 OBITUARY MRS F.W. WIDDICOMBE The news of the death of Mrs F.W. WIDDICOMBE, which occurred at 8.20 yesterday morning, was received throughout the Gymbowen district with feelings of genuine regret. Mrs WIDDICOMBE was a victim of pneumonic influenza. She had been ailing for about a week, and her case from the outset was regarded by her medical attendant, Dr HARBISON, as serious. Her death removes one of the most highly esteemed residents of the Gymbowen district, as well as a loving wife and mother. Mrs WIDDICOMBE was born at Cooma, N.S.W., 53 years ago, and was married at Melbourne at the age of 28, the issue of the marriage being three boys and one girl. Private Marsden WIDDICOMBE is at present on active service. To her husband and family the deepest sympathy is extended.
