    3. Hi Daryl, Many thanks to you and others involved for prompt and very informative reply to my request. I can now see the slight problem with dates, thanks Joan. I am currently researching two of our ex boys who migrated to Australia in the late 1800s early 1900s. Both served with The Australian army in WW1 and both were killed in action. It was the other one, James Toohey, that joined in 1916. He was killed in Flanders in 1917.
