Greetings listers, Here is an odd one - I was looking at a listing from the 1901 UK census and I found for a person born in 1834 in the county of Berkshire, the occupation was given as 'Fly Proprietor.' Anyone with any idea as to what this could be? Could it be 'Fly' as in trout fishing perhaps, or 'Fly' as in a vehicle for conveying passengers, or...? Julie H.
