    3. Hello, I tried for information regarding my g.grandparents (above) a few years ago with no luck. I now have a few more clues which may ring a bell with someone. Margaret arrived at Geelong 15.1.1853 on the Stebonheath with no family. (From County Fermanagh) She is said to be 22. She is described as having been engaged for work by Michael LYONS for what looks like 6 months? and the address is just given as LAKE COLAC. George WILLIAMS is also on an unassisted list for the "Sussex". arriving September 1853. Margaret and George subsequently say on their children's birth certificates they were married at COLAC in 27th April 1854. However a lady from the Colac History Society found no trace of them. I have the birth certificates for most of their children including one for Fanny WILLIAMS born at Creswick in 1855. However on some certificates there is an earlier child - deceased, named George. I realise I need to go to the records office and find the actual ship list for the SUSSEX which might suggest where George was going to work but at the moment I thought I would try to find out about Margaret and where she was hired to work. Any help greatfully received.
