    3. Hi Beryl "Struan" Estate, later Paschendale was acquired by the Soldier Settlement Commission in March 1919, a clearing sale was held in July and then it was opened for inspection. Applicants were interviewed at the Casterton Courthouse in August 1919. Permits for occupation by successful applicants were issued in Oct 1919.
