To all, I have received so much information & assistance re the Hill/Hook family from Casterton, I must thank everyone again. This is a magic group. For the final results, our guy, James Joseph Hill, is the son of James Hill & Mary Ann Hook. Mary Ann died in 1869 & in the following year, James married her sister, Jane & had another family of children - all told there were 15. BonnieB
