    3. Many thanks Daryl - but for the life of me I can't see it on that map - must be having a senior moment - it also doesn't seem to be listed in the table - is it perhaps too small to mark on the map or maybe just noted in the fine print on the map (which my eyes aren't good enough to read in much of the map)? do you happen to know where Weandron and Emernering were (at only 80 acres they seem very small so may not rate a mention on any map) or Gillap, Avenue station, or Finnis Springs. as the Power brothers were apparently on all those properties at one time or another and am I right in presuming Limestone Ridge is what is shown as Limestone Creek on the SW map? cheers cynth Cynthia Kuiper Ph 9449 6855 Mob: 041 449 6855 ----- Original Message ---- From: Daryl K Povey <povey.daryl.k@sebas.vic.edu.au> To: aus-vic-western-district@rootsweb.com Sent: Tuesday, June 12, 2007 8:26:26 PM Subject: Re: [AUS-VIC-WESTERN-DISTRICT] "Cashmere" Pastoral Run (David Power m Anne Pile) "Cashmere" Pastoral Run was just near Wando Dale, became one of the "Wandos", see my map at... http://www.ballaratgenealogy.org.au/digby/past_nth.htm Cheers Daryl Povey At 02:48 PM 12/06/2007, you wrote: >Hi Cynthia and Lex, >Perhaps it is not Cashmere but Cashmore - just west of Portland. >Good Luck! >Helen ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to AUS-VIC-WESTERN-DISTRICT-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message ____________________________________________________________________________________ Be a PS3 game guru. 3. Hello Cynthia The name "Cashmere" does not appear as mentioned in my previous email, I believe it became one of the "3 Wandos" that are shown "Eumemmering" was east of Melbourne in the Westernport region. "Weandron" was also in the same region east of Melbourne "Limestone Ridge" was near Penola in South Australia Regards Daryl Povey At 09:11 AM 13/06/2007, you wrote: >Many thanks Daryl - but for the life of me I can't see it on that >map - must be having a senior moment - it also doesn't seem to be >listed in the table - is it perhaps too small to mark on the map or >maybe just noted in the fine print on the map (which my eyes aren't >good enough to read in much of the map)? > >do you happen to know where Weandron and Emernering were (at only 80 >acres they seem very small so may not rate a mention on any map) or >Gillap, Avenue station, or Finnis Springs. as the Power brothers >were apparently on all those properties at one time or another > >and am I right in presuming Limestone Ridge is what is shown as >Limestone Creek on the SW map? > >cheers > >cynth > >Cynthia Kuiper >Ph 9449 6855 >Mob: 041 449 6855 -------------------------------------------------------------------- Daryl Povey - povey.daryl.k@sebas.vic.edu.au Ballarat & District Genealogical Society, Victoria, Australia... http://www.ballaratgenealogy.org.au/ Casterton & District Historical Society... http://www.ballaratgenealogy.org.au/casterton/historicalsociety.htm 105th Field Battery, Royal Australian Artillery Association... http://www.ballaratgenealogy.org.au/105/ Now hosted by... http://www.ballarat.vic.au/ --------------------------------------------------------------------
