    3. Hi again Julie, Long time no speak. Did you get to the Henty celebration? Don't know if you remember my WEST family from Mortlake? David WEST married Mary BLEWETT, Mary arrived 1854 on the "Clara" with her parents, brother and two sisters (one of whom was Charlotte BLEWETT). The BLEWETT's followed Mary's cousin, Grace PAGAN (nee COUCH) to Victoria. Grace married John PAGAN; the PAGAN family of Grace, John, Mary (10), and Elizabeth (7) (there was also Sarah aged 5 months in the 1841 census, but not sure if she died in the UK or on the voyage) departed England on the "Ward Chipman". The PAGAN's moved to Mortlake where they opened the first store The daughter, Elizabeth PAGAN married William Charles BRUMLEY and they had fourteen children. As far as I know, the BRUMLEY families still in Mortlake were descended from Elizabeth and William BRUMLEY. William's brother Daniel BRUMLEY married Mary Blewett's sister Charlotte BLEWETT. So there are a few descendants in Mortlake from the PAGANs who arrived on the "Ward Chipman". I can search out more information for you if you need it. 3. Hi Trish, Thanks very much for this information. It is good to catch up again! Yes we did go to Henty, it was great. More about that in another message - just wanted to send a quick response as I'm on my way to TAFE to meet up with the student I'm tutoring this afternoon. Interesting that you should have a connection to the Pagan family - don't know if you have a copy of the shipping list, but if you do you will see that your Pagans and my James and Bridget Rapkins are on the same page! If you haven't got a copy of the list I'll make one for you if you'd like it. Must go, thanks again, Julie H. -----Original Message----- From: aus-vic-western-district-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:aus-vic-western-district-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of tsymonds Sent: Monday, 13 August 2007 12:28 PM To: aus-vic-western-district@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [AUS-VIC-WESTERN-DISTRICT] Tuckett Hi again Julie, Long time no speak.
