Hello All, Announcing a family reunion for the descendants of Dugald MCCALLUM (Circa 1791 - Circa 1841) & Janet Macilriach/macilraith (Circa 1787 - ) and their children: Janet (28 Apr 1813 - ), Donald (8 May 1816 - 4 Jun 1908), Archibald (29 Mar 1822 - ), Elisabeth (19 Sep 1824 - ), John (13 Jan 1826 - ), Duncan (1827 - 6 Jan 1910) & Elisabeth (3 Apr 1830 - ). The siblings are known to have descendants in Victoria, Western Australia, and New Zealand. The reunion will be held on 25th and 26th August, 2007 at Digby Memorial Hall, in the Western District of Victoria, in conjunction with the Vern McCallum Historical Photograph Exhibition. John McCALLUM and his wife Caroline BEST lived in Digby. Don't be deterred if your surname is not MCCALLUM, we'll be welcoming associated names including BURGESS, FARLEY, DOUGHENEY, BEST, POVEY ... in fact anyone with an interest in the McCallum family. The family reunion marqee will be open to everyone who comes to the Photograph Exhibition. We are planning a 5.30 pm BBQ and desserts dinner on the Saturday, cost about $15, and ask that you let us know if you intend staying for that.
