Hi all Richard RATCLIFFE of Lancashire, England d. May 1898 in the Boort area and is buried in the Boort cemetery, grave 122. Also buried in the grave are three members of a BUTTERWORTH family: John, Elizabeth and Ewan. I've been trying to connect Richard somehow to the BUTTERWORTHs. It's possible, of course, that the grave was simply reused and there is no real connection. Info I would love to have: 1. Date and place of birth for Elizabeth BUTTERWORTH who died in 1949. 2. A photo of grave 122 -- even if it's just a patch of grass with no headstone. Richard's daughter and son-in-law Frederick and Alice Ratcliffe BECK also lived in the Boort area with Richard.
