Hi David, Having grown up in Timboon I had never heard of it either, however I always wondered why Timboon House was in Camperdown, I questioned a couple of people from Camperdown and yes Camperdown was called Timboon. I have recently acquired a map of Victoria cir. 1850 and Camperdown is marked as Timboon.
