I'm currently researching the family of John Jasper and his wife Maria Madders. They arrived in Vic in 1854. John worked as a stone mason in Penshurst and Maria was a midwife. They had three daughters, Selina, married John Mott in 1855, Drusena married John Sharrock in 1855, and Mary Ann married John Lewis Baker in 1859. John and Maria also had a married son, Thomas, who brought out his wife Elizabeth Byrne and young family in 1864. After Maria Madders died in 1867, John remarried to Mrs Thirza Warburton and helped her raise another young family. They lived in Hawkesdale. I'm particularly interested in locating anyone who might have photos of Mary Ann Jasper and her husband John Lewis Baker. They lived in the area of Mount Rouse, Horsham and Nurrabiel. Penny
