My Great Grandparents were apparently married there on 23 Dec.1869. and I wondered if the building is still standing.     3. Hello Listers I am searching for the family of Thomas BEATON,from Longload, Somerset, who arrived at Portland, on the "PRIAM" 25 August, 1852. The family settled on land in the Wannon area in Western Victoria around 1860. The family consisted of Wife Eliza (nee TUCKER), Son Charles and Daughters Harriet, Eliza ( Mrs Hartwich) and Ann. My grandmother, Ruby Mary Rankin b 1891, was the daughter of Dougald Rankin and Annie Lawes. At the time of my grandmother's marriage in 1922 the family were living on a property called "The Hill".
