Found this in the Geelong Advertiser 1876: A blacksmith named Bartholomew O'Callaghan, who hails from terang, got on a spree a fortnight ago, which has ended in his confinement in the gaol for 7 days. He wnt to melb, where he spent his money and alarmed police by stating that he had been robbed of a large sum of money. He left the metropolis a few evenings ago in the steamer 'Despatch', and as he had no money to pay his passage, he would have been handed over to police had not a fellow traveller kindly paid the fare. Bartholomew wandered up to Mount Moriac (just south of Geelong), where he committed a petty theft, and yesterday was sentenced by the Police Magistrat to seven day imprisonment. regards, Pam Jennings

Hi, Whilst at the wedding I went to I met a guy who was adopted at birth and would really like to find his father. He has already found his mother some 10yrs ago, but sadly wasn't a happy reunion.
