    3. G'day Wilma, I live in Naracoorte, on the South Australian side of the border, near Apsley. Beneyo and Neuarpur were little towns. Looking at an 'ordinary' road map of Victoria, if you find Edenhope and then look up towards the Little Desert National Park you will find ,on the S.A. side of the border, a town called Frances. My map reads 12kms from Frances in an almost straight line there is Neuarpurr and down from there, about 22ks is Benayeo. I cannot tell you much about these places, my husband installs TV antennas and goes to these places but I do not think they are "towns" as such. Benayeo is 8 kms from Apsley so maybe they were married in Apsley. I know people in Apsley so I may be able to find out more. Did they have any children in S.A.? I have the S.A. CD's if you want a look up. Thomas MURPHY and Emma Amelia SMITH were married at Beneyo Apsley in 1854. I cannot find their marriage on the Pioneers Index. Their 4th child, Agens Hester Murphy was born at Neuarpur, Apsley in 1863. I have a copy of the birth registration and could not find Neuarpur on the map. Look forward to your response Regards, Wilma Melbourne Vic. Aust.
