Please forgive me for the triple posting, but Ararat seems to be in the middle of the all of the above lists. Whilst going through my father Jim Wyatt's "treasures" I came across some photographs of young girls who worked for him at the Railway Refreshment Rooms in Ararat in the period 1946-1951. One of the girls has written names on the back of the photographs, so I will list them below. Of course the names, in the majority of cases, would be maiden names. The Ararat station no longer exists in the form it took in those days. Nor do the refreshment rooms exist anymore. I feel the memories of those times should be preserved and I am one of the few children whose home was the refreshment rooms. I would love to here from any of "dad's girls" as we called them. I would be grateful to anyone on the lists who could put me in touch with these "girls". My father also managed refreshment rooms in Ouyen, Warragul and Bendigo.
