Hi Michael, I have a Jane STANIFORD born about 1810 in West Molesey in Surrey, England to parents William and Sarah STANIFORD. I wonder if your Summerland STANIFORD could be some kind of relation. Jane STANIFORD married William GATFIELD anout 1830. Jane GATFIELD then had family - her husband died and she joined her son, William Staniford Gatfield in Brisbane, Qld, when she emigrated with other family members after 1857. Her son William Staniford GATFIELD arrived in Brisbane on "New Great Britain" on 6/01/1857. It would be interesting to find a connection. Regards Lyn Bateson Brisbane.
