Could someone please assist me with a place name in Victoria. >From shipping records (and very hard to read ones) I have located my ancestors arriving in Victoria in 1853. It shows that they were Labourers and Shepherds and going to a place called "NERUB NERUB" or something similar. Their surname was McMILLAN - although it appears on the shipping records as McMULLAN. I have looked on the VicNames section for web site www.land.vic.gov.au and the closest I can see is the name of NAREEB. Some of the family later lived in STAWELL, so I would imagine that this may be the place. Would anyone on the list have any other suggestions? Many thanks Kay Morris Sydney, Australia
