Hi Folks Jack HAWKER from USA emailed me with a link to his HAWKER family history website. It has information on branches of the HAWKER family that arrived in SA from Somerset and settled around the Kaniva area. One of the large family groups was that of Robert HAWKER who married Sarah MERRETT in 1873 and had 16 children and lived around the Kaniva area.
