Hi Beryl & all MIRAM PIRAM was the place my BATESON ancestors settled in 1880. Before that they were farmers at KALKEE north of Horsham from about 1875, but originally were labourers and then small farmers in squatter heartland in Western Districts - Henty. Some names include ; BATESON, SCHMIDT, WATERS, GOULD, RIDEOUT, SMART, COUTTS, HARRISON, From West Wimmera.
