Hello to everyone, I am new to the list and am looking for any information, memorabilia or photographs of RAFFERTY'S of GLENPATRICK (near ELMHURST) My great grandfather Peter was a miner/farmer at Glenpatrick in the late 1800's and some family members remained there for many years afterwards. Peter also had a brother (Patrick) that arrived in Australia with him in 1862, but they parted and very little is known about Patrick, mention has been made that he went to the Western District. Other names associated with RAFFERTY are: JOSEPH (Greenhill Creek, Lexton and Avoca) RATIGAN (Ampitheatre, Mountain Hut, Glenpatrick) CROFT (Elmhurst, Landsborough area) Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, especially regarding RAFFERTY'S as we possess very little. Can't help in this area, however, I am interested in your CROFT. I have a Derbyshire CROFT / CROFTS, where was yours from?
