Hi! I have just finished reading a little book titled "Go and Ask Grandmother" by Vida Roberts & published in 1990, which has been loaned to me. It gives a wonderful account of farm life near Murtoa of the German family, Aumann, about 100 years ago. It's a great read and gives insight into what our ancesters everyday lives involved.
