Hi Corinne, Contact the Department of Education, Vic - they have details of ALL teachers, wages, dates etc. Not sure which section handles it now and if there is a fee but the department is the only one with the complete index and files (at least they were the last time I had this sort of query). Beryl, have you used this source recently? Also, even if you're trying to find out when and where she was a teacher, can't you tell us when she MIGHT have been - i.e. between the ages of about 16 and 60?? When was than? Obviously if we're talking BEFORE the 1870s, then the Department of Education won't be of any help. Regards ..............
