Hi All, Just new to the list and thought I'd list my interests. Researching the descendants of John TAYLOR and Elizabeth WARDLE. They married in Pontville Tasmania in 1842 and then later travelled to Victoria. On a daughter's marriage certificate in 1864, they were listed as residents of Violet town. Children of John and Elizabeth (Wardle) TAYLOR are - 1. John James TAYLOR married Emily Sophia De Gill in Buddabadah NSW 1874. 2. Rose Hannah TAYLOR married Peter Bown HARRIS in Violet Town Vic 1864. 3.Mary Ann died young. 4. Elizabeth Mary Ann TAYLOR married Thomas Peter HOGBEN Dandaloo NSW 1869. 5. Susan TAYLOR married Thomas MITCHELL in Dubbo NSW 1875. 6. John William TAYLOR married Margaret ZELL in Mudgee 1880. 7. Henry Edwin TAYLOR Just wondering if anyone has any connections to the TAYLORs,WARDLEs,HOGBENs or HARRIS families mentioned ( I believe they were all from around the same area). Also, if the parents died in Violet Town where would they have been buried? and are there transcripts for the cemetery.
