I appreciate this help very much and have my fingers crossed that you can get this information for it gives details of the closing down of Crawford and Co. If the State Library doesnt have this, anyone have ideas on where to access this? It must be somewhere accessible for the guy who did the thesis (oops that word again) actually had them mentioned in the footnotes. Just back from 2 days on the Sunshine Coast (Noosa Caloundra coast) in a most superb luxiourious 3 level beach house - spa, beachfront - wonderful clean squeaky beaches and thundering surf - decks birds prawns fish, mud crabs wonderful fruits and salads and breakfasts listening to the surf in the early morning sun on the decking. It was our birthday gift to our son on his 30th, and 6 of us enjoyed his birthday!! Way to go. Wading thru 270 mail down to 133, so thought I'd better put something down for these two wonderful girls helping me out and sorry Mary the above is my reason for not replying sooner.
