POlice Gazette 12th Apri 1870 P 85 A Warrant has been issued at Kilmore against John Lloyd, prisoner discharged 2.8.1869, he now being considered the actual perpetrator of the robberies (hitherto ascribed to Power) committed on George Baker, Samuel Sparling - Pridmore, constable Michael Tighe, Farquhar McKenzie, p49; on Matthew Kennedy p55, and on Robert McBean and Charles Dickens p67. Lloyd is a Tipperary man, labourer, aged 47, 5'6" high, fresh complexion, grey hair and eyes, several scars on forehead, nose broken, scar left side of head, left fourth finger injured; sentenced at Beechworth 19.101865 to5 years for cattle stealing - 11.4.1870 P91 Police Gazette 20th April, John Lloyd has been arrested by the Wangaratta detective police.
