Information is requested by Mrs. McDonald of her husband John McDonald who went to the Ovens about the 7th January last (1855) and has not since been heard of. He is about 38 years old, 5'8" high, dark complexion, black hair, brown eyes, flat nose, pockmarked, lost a finer on right hand, and one on left hand, a Scotchman; arrived about 1830 in Sydney. Mr. R Wilson of Tumut offers a reward of £1 for the recovery of same. John Sheridan alias Rodd and Patrick Brady have been stealing horses from the Tumut area and heading for Mitta Mitta Jacks near Ovens District Victoria. --- Information is requested of Paul Michan a young man, formerly o Orleans, France who has not been heard of by his relations since the 11/10/1853. About that time he wrought on the OvensGold Fields of the Colonly without success. He is said to have afterwards kept a pastry shop at Beechworth (YA THE BEECHWORTH BAKERY) and had as customers some Government officials. Prevous to his coming to Victoria he resided 3 years in England,.
