By March 1870 Power is claiming to be in Benalla on Robert McBean's station "Kelford" and stole a brown mare B2 near shoulder star one hind foot white a saddle a new pelham bridle, and a gold hunting watch. and was accompained by a lad who rode a brown horse and carried a swag in front. They are supposed to have gone towards Mansfield, Upper Goulbourn district.
