Dear List, I am researching the above families, which appear to be connected to the Beechworth, Wangaratta areas. The main family is the PRISMALL family, Andrew and Elizabeth PRISMALL, who are both buried in Beechworth Cemetery. Andrew was a miller, who settled in Beechworth after leaving Thomastown, where he owned a mill and bakery. Andrew died in 1894 in Stanley. His wife, Elizabeth, nee CRAIG, died in Beechworth in 1882. They had eight children. Their details are below: John Craig Prismall, born 1856 in Thomastown, died in 1858 in Thomastown Jabez Booth Prismall, born 1858 in Keelbundura (Thomastown), died in 1859 in Victoria. Amy Prismall, born 1860 in Woollert, Vic, died 1933 in Melbourne. Amy married a James Henry GELLIE in 1885, Victoria. James Henry GELLIE died in 1922 in St. Kilda. They had one son William James GELLIE, born in 1888 in Clifton Hill, who married Gertrude WILBERFORCE in 1912 in Stanley. William James died in Brighton in 1956. Edwin Prismall, born in Woollert in 1862. I have no further details on him. Ada Prismall, born in 1864 in Thomastown. She married Willard Ashdown Wilberforce. I have a lot of detail on her as she is my direct line greatgrandmother. Herbert Prismall, born in Collingwood in 1866, died in 1867 somewhere in NSW. Alfred James Prismall, born in Wangaratta in 1868, died in Kew in 1926. Married Eveline/Evaline GELLIE in 1895 in Wangaratta. She died in 1908 in Fitzroy South. I have no issue listed from this marriage. Margaret Prismall, born in Wangaratta in 1871, died in Heidelberg in 1957. She married an Edward John WOOLCOCK in 1894 in Wangaratta. They had six children, Lilian Pearl, Edward Clifton, Alfred Glenroy, Frederick Norman, John Lawrence and Colin Craig WOOLCOCK. Edward Clifton WOOLCOCK married an Alice Ruby LACY in 1920 and he died in 1983 in Beechworth. Can anybody help me with this family?
