    3. Hi Peter, I think you are thinking of the Taylors Gap crossing, there was a bridge over the line, and it is on top of the Gap, close to the Beechworth turn off. The Blue Bell crossing was much closer to Myrtleford. The old road ran under the hill, the Blue Bell crossing was where the road met the hill on the Wang. side. there was another crossing where the road left the hill on the Myrtleford side (forget the name of that crossing). The Blue Bell would only be about 3 or 4 Km's out of Myrtleford.
