As for the CC - most horses where mentioned stolen have a note of brand, some quite involved which I couldn't do on this keyboard. The dates I have given 1/10/1869 is the time of theft. 14/4/1870 is the date it was reported to Police Gazette. It was in April 20th 1870 Gazette. No 1989.
