I checked his web site and found this "Graham Jones (1929-2000) Graham Jones was born in Charters Towers, Queensland, in 1929. After working as a cartoonist, writer and illustrator in Australia and England, he married in 1956, and settled in the North East of Victoria working in radio as a copy writer, broadcaster and farmer. He began researching North East Victorian history in the 1970s, researching from primary sources mainly at the Burke Museum in Beechworth. His breadth of knowledge of local, Australian and world history was emmence. As man of great humility, balance and depth, he remains much respected and missed." He certainly will be missed.
