To all listers - FYI Elyne, a very well known & highly respected citizen, who easily could be dubbed one of the 'pioneering women of the Upper Murray' passed away, aged 88, on Monday at Corryong. This for me is certainly a 'library gone up in smoke'. Regrettably I didn't get to speak to her a couple of months ago - which proves you should grab the opportunity when it's there!!!! (I'm sure her obit will be fascinating reading, she was the wife of the late Tom Mitchell MLA.) Regards Chris
