    3. Thanks PEter, you done good!!! This won't be the Page to whom I refer, unless it was his brother. But then I don't know what his brother ended up doing after landing in 1853. Page was referred to in Hirams Diary when he met up with him in Beechworth October 53 and then they both did some mining around the creeks and then zapped over to the Buckland rush. Page died there in the epidemic. I am only assuming that it is the cabin mate Augustus, and not his brother also on the Texas H.C..
