I am intrigued by the name - the ORRs. I have been looking to construct my ORR branch, in the hope of finding surviving rellies - Background: William ORR married Mary Ann RUSSELL in Ireland (Cork). They had a few kids before coming to Australia in 1865. They had more children here, and MaryAnn died officially from pneumonia. Male ORR children were John William Russell m Jane (SPEARS) in 1885; ....children Edith Jeanne; (Edyth Jean) m SALTER; John Robert Russell ORR - b 1893 in Avoca, m Janet Mabel NEWSOME in 1917; children - Jean Gherardin b 1918 in Geelong; Valerie Eunice, 1920 Geelong. Janet Mabel died aged 27 in 1927. John Robert Russell d aged 57, in 1957 - Flemington. There were several daughters, and I believe there may have been 1 birth with father 'unknown' - have not got easy access to that from here. Now, the big question - if you can follow the info above - is there anything that may link to your family? I must advise that there was a second couple with identical names. The one major difference was that this second Mary Ann was Australian born.
